Charm of Beijing

College of Arts Graduate Show of Beijing Union University was held in 79 Tank of Beijing 751D•PARK on May 15, 2018. The theme was “Charm of Beijing” (Jing Yun). In Chinese, Yun has the connotation of harmony. Beijing is a thousand-year-old capital and a world-renowned city embracing tradition and modernity, history and science, foreign and local cultures. It is the best interpretation of modern charm. The charm of Beijing can be traced in the essence of harmony.

In order to make the best graduate design, these young designers almost visited all old brands and products bearing childhood memories characterized by Beijing charm, refined design language to create works full of Beijing characteristics. Overall, these works reflected the university’s educational feature of Beijing-orientation and serving Beijing.
